Run for love
The best part about this music video, Run For Love is the anticipation the actors bring in camera. While screening, we made most of the audience laugh which means we did a pretty good job. When Chad, the protagonist, finds his competition, Nick, that's when the mess begins. While they both run and compete against each other, Chad ends up falling and tripping over garbage bags while Nick ends up getting out of breath. I hope to see the audience full with laughter while watching this film.
Run For Love has a pretty basic concept. Its about a two guys who compete for this one girl. Throughout the journey of getting to her they go through many obstacles in the streets of New York. They realize that their competing for the same girl but to beat each other in the race to get her they sabotage each other to get ahead. During the story the two guys keep a strong character to get what they want. it shows that they are willing to do anything for this girl via buy flowers for her, trip over garbage bags and basically having a lot of physical and emotional damage to their bodies. This is a comedy that will keep you laughing and anticipating what is going to happen next.
During the shooting process it was really difficult. We had to keep changing the shooting day due to weather and lack of actors. When we finally did shoot, unfortunately it was the day after the big snow storm so there still was a lot of snow outside and it was really cold. Our actors although the conditions were amazingly nice about shooting in that weather and we were very lucky to have them in our video. One obstacles that we came upon was the people walking in the streets. They would walk right in front of the camera into our shot. The solution we came up with was to start shooting when the walking sign turned to the stop sign then we would shoot because that is when the least amount of people would walk by.
Shooting this music video as the Director of Photography was a learning experience that i very much enjoyed. We made some mistakes and in the near future we can do right by it next time.

Song name
While we were editing our movie he put a song in it called "Are you gunna be my girl?" by the Jets. When we shot on Sunday the sun was out but it was very cold. Me and my group are very thankful that we missed the 2011 snow storm in New York. When we first started looking for our actors for our movie, we wanted Johnny Depp to be one of our actors.
We all felt like he would play a good role as the hot guy in our film. At first we were thinking about putting a Drake song in our film but after we heard the Jets song, Are you gunna be my girl, we chose that song instead because in the song it mentioned the girls black boots and long black hair and that discription fit our actor because that is exactly what she was wearing :)
